In the past couple years, the moment June hit, all of us got that tingling shining feeling in our souls. The feeling of excitement to reunite with our favorite people on earth. The place that feels like home.
We united together in love, kindness and inclusiveness regardless of race, gender, size, appearance, and so forth.

When I try to describe bonnaroo, I describe it as this, “think the most loving, genuine, beautiful wonderful souls you know in your life.... and imagine 80,000 people like that all together in one place enjoying music and living freely and loving one another”.

And when we leave, our souls are on a high. And those vibes stay with us. And that love leaks into every aspect of our life. And we vow to ourselves to let that love overflow into the world.

Guys, our world is heavy right now. There’s a lot of pain, unknown, hurt, fear, and sadness.

And although we aren’t reuniting quite yet.... the world needs those roo vibes more than ever. imagine that feeling you have when you finally arrive into the campgrounds and finally see the arch [or squarch], slapping that bag, high fiving your friends, dancing till sunrise.... take it all in, breathe it into your souls RIGHT NOW... And let’s take all that energy and let us fill our world with it. Because this earth needs each and every one of you more than you know.

So until we meet again... I love you all. Let’s vow to choose kindness. Let’s vow to love one another unconditionally. Let’s let that power overcome. I believe each and every one of you have a unique, special soul that has the capability to change this world.

Happy Roo. ❤️

Bonnaroo is amazing, incredible, fun, weird, hot, and high energy! It truly is life changing, from the incredible lineups full of beautiful music, to the people, to the atmosphere.
Be careful to hydrate properly, it’s hot as balls in Manchester in June, nothing is worse than missing a great band because you got dehydrated and had to stay in camp to recover. And try to bring decent equipment to give yourself some shade so you don’t fry in camp.
Don’t be afraid to go alone, you will have so many new friends inside of 10 minutes its crazy, Bonnaroo is all about Positivity and Love!
Lastly, go to Roo and have an incredible experience, we’ll see you on the Farm!!!

I attended Bonnaroo in 2012 & 2013 with my big brother. From the first moment encountering the festival (in our case, a big ass line on the shoulder of the highway to enter the farm), you know you’re in for a treat. Festival goers scream “ROO” from their car windows, the line progresses and finally you’re in the farm. The lineup is one of the best in the country year-in-year-out and the land that hosts the festival is easily among the best in the country. If you camp, the experience is all the more enveloping. The intense heat is the only downfall to this otherwise otherworldly experience. ROOOOOO!

It’s true, the lineup has started to feel like a random catchall. But perhaps it’s best to drive as many musical demographics as possible, especially since they’re focusing more on the atmosphere and community portions of the festival now? I’ve gone the last two years and have discovered some amazing acts, but also taken part in important sustainability discussions, press rooms, and an infinite amount of high fives. The people who go to Bonnaroo are some of the nicest you’ll find in any festival setting.
